ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL CONOCIMIENTO DE LOS POLIQUETOS ERRANTES DEL GOLFO DE CARIACO, VENEZUELA

Resumen


RESUMEN: En muestreos de fondo realizados durante mayo de 2010 en varias estaciones localizadas en la costa del golfode Cariaco, se recolectaron especímenes de poliquetos errantes, de los cuales dos especies (Glycera. brevicirris y Scoletomatreadwelli) constituyen nuevos registros para Venezuela y cinco especies más constituyen nuevos registros para este cuerpo deagua: Sthenelais sp., Glycera americana, G. dibranchiata, Goniada littorea y Kinbergonuphis sp.

Abstract: Species of errant polychaetes collected in bottom samplings conducted at several coastal stations in the gulf ofCariaco in May 2010 yielded two new records for Venezuela: Sthenelais sp. and Glycera americana, and five records for thegulf: G. brevicirris, G. dibranchiata, Goniada littorea, Scoletoma treadwelli and Kinbergonuphis sp.
