Identificación mediante RMN de algunos metabolitos secundarios del coral gorgóneo Eunicea sp. | Identification by NMR of some non-polar secondary metabolites from Eunicea sp. Gorgonians soft corals
Resumen
Del extracto en éter de petróleo de una especie no identificada del género Eunicea, se obtuvieron algunas fracciones cromatográficas que presentaron actividad antibacteriana frente a Bacillus subtilis y Pseudomonas aeruginosa. De éstas, se lograron aislar, mediante cromatografía en columna y en capa fina preparativa, tres constituyentes lipídicos derivados de ácidos y alcoholes. Los estudios de RMN unidimensional (1H, 13C) y bidimensionales (HMQC y HMBC), sugieren que estos constituyentes se corresponden con el (E)-8-eicosenoato de metilo (1), el hexadecanol (2) y el 1-O-decilglicerol (3).

ABSTRACT
Some chromatographic fractions of the petroleum-ether-extract of non-reported Eunicea specie, showed activity against B. subtillus and P. aeruginosa bacteria. By continuous column and preparative thin layer chromatography of these fractions, three fats derivate from acids and alcohol were obtained. The 1D (1H, 13C) and 2D (HMQC, HMBC) NMR analyses allowed to propose the structure of: (E)-8-eicosenoic acid methyl esther (1), hexadecyl alcohol (2), and 1-O-decylglycerol (3).
